A process for individuals, groups, and teams to access deeper creativity.

Explore your creativity

Being creative is essential, whether it’s for personal passions or professional projects. But it’s hard to make time and space for creativity in a world that can feel so consistently, unrelentingly yikes. PAGE is a process to help you make that space, to feel empowered to maximize creativity in the moments you have, embrace play, and explore new ideas.

Learn proven tools

PAGE pulls together the best bits from decades of work around creativity. From artistic practices to academic research, we’ll look at what has proven success, weave in new ideas, and create something that works for each individual. You’ll discover ways to get inspired, turn off the self-judgment, make the most of your time, and embrace playfulness.

Embrace play

PAGE is cozy, collaborative, and fun. We don’t get all self-helpy. It’s just the right mix of woo-woo and MBA. You’ll learn by doing, through prompts, and exercises. Sharing is always optional. Not taking ourselves too seriously is required.

PAGE for individuals

PAGE ONE: One-day workshops that cover the best bits of The PAGE Process. Are you feeling burned out? Do you have a million ideas and you’re not sure how to focus on building what’s next? Do you want to build your community of supportive weirdos who like to talk about cool stuff? PAGE ONE is an awesome way to connect to your creativity, build community, and jumpstart your next creative project.

In each 2 hour session, we’ll explore useful tools and exercises that help us tap into a creative flow state. We embrace the playful spirit of “yes and” as we build our relationship with the page. Our primary tool is free-writing, but our work is applicable across all creative endeavors. We’ll meet in-person at a studio in NE MPLS. Click the button below to sign up and get more details.

THIS FALL: The five-week program focused on unlocking creative potential. A group of supportive people gather once a week to create a relationship with the page through free-writing. Think of this as a yoga class for your imagination, a space held to gather with a creative community, and pursue your creative endeavors. Reach out now to hold your spot.

What people are saying

“After a few years of feeling creatively blocked, going through the PAGE process helped me tap back into a regular creative practice. Mikala's curriculum allowed the group to engage in ideas and exercises in a beautiful and low stakes way. I'm ending the course with a handful of new tools that I can pull out if I ever get blocked again in the future. Wholeheartedly recommend!”

Molly S.

“The PAGE process was invaluable in getting out of a creative state of reactivity and rumination - and into a regular practice of action and reflection.

Every week, Mikala shared a variety of creative tools and practices, alongside background and context for each. After each, we were able to reflect on how they shaped our experience, and what worked - considering the stimulus, environment, and mindset we were bringing.

My experience with PAGE has given me new tools and understanding to further develop my own creative practice, push on my goals, identify what I need to support a new practice, and how to approach it. I could not recommend more!”

Josh D.

“There are some people in life who are natural-born leaders. Mikala is one of them – in the best way possible. She leads the PAGE cohort in a dynamic and engaging way. But more importantly, she is very astute at reading the room and keeping the facilitation fluid and democratic. In the PAGE process, you will learn strategies to reflect on what's happening right now (professionally, personally, creatively), what you want to do next, and how can that be bridged. It's simple, and it's very effective!”

AMANDA D.

“Mikala’s course not only challenged my preconceptions of creativity, but also deftly interwove a diverse range of creative modalities into a cohesive framework of thought. Every session was both informative and very fun (and funny). I cherished our time together and looked forward to each weekly session. Through this experience, I rediscovered the joy of my relationship to a blank page and the child like wonder of making something out of nothing.”

Jack S.

"Sharing in workshops can be intimidating and nerve-wracking. PAGE, from start to finish, was a safe and approachable space for anyone to explore a side of themselves that day-to-day mundanity can stifle and suffocate. The sessions helped open doors to further and deeper questioning of one's creative capabilities versus searching for definitive answers."
